Exploring the Veil:
A Somatic Approach to Healing Racial Trauma

Beneath the Skin:
7 Practices for Unlearning Racism

Discover how racism lives beneath the skin—and how you can begin to unlearn it in a whole-body way.

This free guide, Beneath the Skin: Practices for Unlearning Racism, is designed for white-bodied folks ready to move beyond intellectual understanding. If you want to meet the discomfort, curiosity, and complexity of racial justice work inside your body—not just your mind—this resource offers somatic invitations to help you pause, notice, and stay present.

It’s an introduction to the deeper work we’ll explore in Exploring the Veil: a workshop that invites you to feel, embody, and build capacity to act from a new place of accountability and connection.

Are you ready to begin?

Why I Show Up to This Work
I am Plains Cree, Plains Saulteaux, and Afro-Trinidadian. I carry the weight of history and resilience in my body. The legacy of colonialism, slavery, and systemic racism lives not just in the mind but in our nervous systems and generations.

I believe justice lives in the body as much as it does in policies. Somatic practice helps us feel hard truths so we can transform from the inside out.

This work matters because it moves us beyond shame and guilt into grounded accountability and compassion—for ourselves and others. Healing justice is a lifelong practice.
